I tried to apply perfect match to leverage the previous bilingual file, but failed because of the following information. Besides, the incorrect language pair, is there any other reason of getting this? I am sure the target language is identical to the project.

are you using language variants? en != en-GB...
if your bilingual document is an sdlxliff, you should find something like this in the header:
source-language="en-GB" target-language="de-DE"
Compare this to your project settings. If they don't match exactly, it might cause this error.

Hi Daniel,
Thank you for the suggestion. I just opened that sdlxliff file in Notepad and there is only source-language="en-Us" in the <header>, but no target-language="zh-CN" which by theory it should be. My guess is that the translator just returned the sdlxliff file under the source language folder which thus doesn't have translation or target language.
Do you think this makes sense?
