What is the conventional route?  If you're using the Starter Edition and trying to save target using a batch task then that may not be possible.

Try using File-> Save Target As when the file is open in the Editor.

I meant that exact route as the conventional one. The function "Save Target As" appears sort of blocked. I am not using the Starter Edition so I cannot understand where the problem comes from. I am now attempting to uninstall the program and reinstalling it to see if, maybe, I did something wrong when downloading it in the first place. Otherwise, I cannot think of a solution, really.

Silly questions... apologies now... but I don't know what else to suggest.  I doubt a reinstall will help unless it fixes something like this:

- are you in the target language and not the source?

- have you opened the file in the Editor?

- have you got the original source file, or was it embedded into the SDLXLIFF?

Yes, I have tried with multiple tester texts to see if anything changed... but have had no luck, unfortunately. I am in the target language, I did open the file in the Editor tab and the original source files have been PDF and Word files so I doubt it is the third option. Anyway... thank you for the suggestions! You've been very kind! I will try finishing with the reinstall and see what happens? haha

I mentioned the third option because if you didn't create the project and the files were too large to be embedded then you might not have the ability to save target at all.
