Hi!
I want to clean up my SSD a bit and some source text files and SDL Trados' file are comprising a rather big pile.
If I delete them, what will happen, if anything?
Thank you in advance.

It depends. Are these files still active projects, or even closed projects in Studio? If they are then deleting them would probably cause Studio to not like it much.
In addition to this what SDL Trados files are you referring to? If they are SDLTMs or SDLTBs you may not really want to delete them at all as thee contain your Translation Memories and Terminology. If they are SDLXLIFF files these would be your bilingual files for the projects you've been working on. If they have not been updated into a TM yet then you might want to do this first.
I think it would be helpful to get a little more information on what files they are, where they are etc. before anyone coulod give you good advice about this. The last thing we'd want to do is tell you its ok and then you find you've lost important files later on.
One thing you could consider is backing up all the files on an external drive before you delete them anyway so at least you can replace them if necessary later on.

Hi Paul
Thank you for the answer.
I was wondering about source .docs and docxs. In addition, I have .sdlxliff and .sdlproj files beside those source text files. That's it. I don't want to delete any other files.
So, if I delete them to free up some will it cause some troubles?
If none of them relate to active projects in Studio then you can delete any of them and it won't affect Studio.
