I'm not sure I completely follow your question... perhaps I'm overcomplicating it in my mind.  You can change the fuzziness of the search in the term recognition options... have you tried playing with that?

Are you trying to recognize terms in the target language? The TB is set up to recognize words in the source and display target terminology. I may not fully understand what you are trying to do.

Nope, I'm trying to recognize the term in the source. I have a term "ear-plugs" in the termbase. And in the translated document I have "ear plugs" in the source and I got no recognition. Even when I tried to set minimum match value (on the picture above) to lower values.

If you have a sentence like you mentioned in you first post: 

"This sentence contains OOP shortcut."   if I have the "OOP" term in the termbase, I need a suggestion.

You will definitely get a suggestion. If all of this does not work for you, or somebody from SDL to get installation help. Or is there any language mismatch? Sub-languages? EN-GB vs. EN-US?
