studio 2019 not responding

Question

I have just installed studio 2019 with SR1. I was previously using 2015 SR3. I am experiencing very lengthy waiting times when confirming a segment and moving to the next segment, with a 'not responding' message. This did not happen in studio 2015. Do you have any suggestion as to how to deal with this?

There could be numerous reasons for such an issue - so it would be good to know what your system specs are and what other programs you might be running alongside Studio and which apps you have installed and maybe if the hard drive is internal or external etc. 
 
The first things to check would be perhaps that you have added both Studio and MultiTerm to your AntiVirus 'White list'. 
If you have apps such as Grammar Checker installed, you might want to remove these and see if this makes a difference.
