General error occurred and "Could not connect to XXX termbase, so you cannot use it for term recognition."

Question

Hi, 
 I get this message when trying to translate files inside a package. 
 It has happened twice, with two different packages, from different clients. 
 I cannot run verification, I cannot use Concordance and I cannot save a target file. 
 Also, I've been told that the same packages run smoothly in other computers, but I don't know any details. 
 I run Windows 10, Studio is updated, and I do not have MultiTerm installed. 
 I would appreciate any suggestion.

First of all, [please ensure that both Studio and MultiTerm are fully up to date. 
 
From the error message it appears that possibly the cause of the issue is maybe a 'semi colon' in the folder name. 
Please try renaming the folder without this- 
 gateway.sdl.com/.../Error-messages-using-termbases-that-contain-a-semi-colon-in-termbase-name-or-folder-path
