Is there a way to use batch tasks and create multiple project packages from different projects at once?

Hello !

We are used to receive pre-translated project packages from one of our customers. We then apply our own translation memories, make a pre-translation and an analyse, and then create a new package for our translators.

Unfortunately, our client send us one package per language combination (usually 20-24).

Is there a way to perform these batch tasks (pre-translate + analyse) and create a project package PER PROJECT, all at once? Or at least, each of the 3 processes on all the projects appearing in the dashboard?

Thanks

  • I have a client that sends several packages, one per target language, even if I commented that possibly there is a way to send only one.
So first I’d ask the client to send over only one package (I hope you have more luck than me).
The point is that 1 project can be applied a project template (assigning TMs and TBs via Apply Studio Project Template), and then be pre-translated and analysed on a single step.
I wouldn’t know how to automate the creation of a package per language (I'm guessing, packages for your translators, right?). This would imply to know the names of the translators you’re sending the package to. Is this what you mean?
I’m curious to read other comments on how to automate your workflow.
