Ok, so this question is actually rather ridiculous given that I've worked with Trados for over 6 years now, BUT: is there a way to find & replace words WITHOUT the find & replace function usually moving you several hundred segments away and making you have to find the segment you were on initially? This is super inconvenient, no to say idiotic, given that finding and replacing words is something translators have to do all the time. MemoQ allows to do this in a blink of an eye. The find & replace dialogue in 2019 in terms of its functionality looks like it hasn't gone past the 1990s level of technological advancement, meaning: you have to first find an instance of the word in the document, then replace it, then go back to where you've been, etc... Not sure if it's because of .NET constraints or because SDL designers have never translated a document in their lives.
Or maybe there's an alternative solution I don't know yet?
