When I save an sdlxliff file in Trados 2017, it gets protected

Hi all, I would really appreciate if you could help with this Trados error. Always that I save an sdlxliff file in Trados 2017, it gets protected/blocked (the file on the folder is marked with a padlock) and my clients cannot open the file. Could you kindly help me to solve this problem? Thanks a lot in advance! :)

Hello Andrea Bronchalo ,

There is no functionality in Studio that would automatically lock a file or folder and I have never seen this happen before.
When you navigate to the target folder in the project folder? What do you see? Can you post a screen shot?
Could you maybe share the original file with me (swhale@sdl.com)?

It would be great also if you can confirm in the community if when you log in as the machine administrator (not as a selected user) the issue is resolved.

Hello Steven,

Thank you for your reply. I have just replied to your email. I always use the administrator account and the files still get protected, but it seems that now (after deactivating and deleting the other 2 accounts), when I attach the protected files to an email, the padlock disappears, so I suppose this will not be a problem, I will ignore the padlock.
