Can't create bilingual file with over 1GB idml file.

Hi team,

I'm handling InDesign file over 1GB and I can't create bilingual file maybe because of running out of memory.

Are there any ways to create bilingual file saving memory?

Looks like you have this problem in InDesign. There are forums for InDesign, where you might want to ask your question. This forum is for SDL Trados Studio. I assume you want to add a layer in InDesign for the second language.

Since you are asking: To avoid excessive file size, you or your customer can split the InDesign file up into one file per spread and organize them as an InDesign book. There might be a million other ways such as final imaging etc.
You might also want to consider copying your file and creating the second language version as an independent monolingual file. Depends very much your use case.

Best of luck for your project, do ask your question in the Adobe forums!
