Can two users use SDL Trados Freelance Plus separately?

Question

A few days ago I saw a post on proz.com that some translators were buying the SDL Trados Studio Freelance Plus together and splitting the cost. So, I have a hypothetical question. Say two translators work for the same company and they need SDL Trados Studio and they'll need to link the Studios to the company server. Now can they work separately with a SDL Trados Studio Freelance Plus license and keep their work and connections separate?

Probably a couple of points here: 
 
1. If they work for a company and connect to a server they almost certainly should be using the Professional version 
2. If a freelance translator purchases Freelance Plus this is not intended to be shared with another translator
