SDL Trados Studio sets always status "approved"

Question

We work with a serverbased version of SDL Trados Studio 2019, DeepL plugin and groupshare for our external translaters. I prepare the projects in SDL Trados Studio until the pretranslation of DeepL should be shown (doesn't work at the moment, unfortunately). Then I publish the project and we do the rest with groupshare. When I open the file in the editor all segments are shown with the status "approved" (the green check mark). Shouldn't there be shown the status "editing" (the pencil)? Do you have the same problem and may you have any help for me? Thank you so much!

Is the file pre-translated before you open it? 
If so, please check the pre-translation settings - you can set whether you would like Studio to confirm the 100% and context matches - confirmed segments have the green check mark next to them.
