I'd like to reproduce this pop up "Dependency file not found" from my side

Question

I have posted a question asking any workaround about it (to suppress). But, have been told that is impossible. 
 I tried to make the same message from my side. But, have failed. Do I need some more programs ? or simply missed how to use SDL Trados Studio ?

To reproduce this just create a project where the setting for the SDLXLIFF filetype is set to allow no space for the embedded file. Then put the sdlxliff in another folder on your computer and open it up for translation.

This error message can be found if you're sent an sdlxliff file with the missing source file, whether it's a single file or a package.

 Make sure you put them back afterwards Kelly or your customer might not be so pleased as this is needed when they create their target files.

 This is utter nonsense Kelly. 
 Nobody will have said they will solve the problem of people working directly on SDLXLIFF files that don't contain the embedded file... at least no other way other than to send the original source file with the sdlxliff, or use Project Packages. 
 You have created a workaround for a problem that isn't really there. The message is purely information anyway.

The bit you think needs fixing Kelly is this, which occurs with WorldServer packages: 
 Root Cause

This may happen when the original source file is too large to be embedded in the SDLXLIFF file. Instead it is linked as a separate dependency file. When creating packages, these files are not automatically added to the package.

And you have not fixed this at all. You have merely prevented the informational message from appearing. Seems a waste of time to me.

 1. It's been built using the Studio vAPIs 
 2. It has not been checked by SDL 
 3. It suppresses an informational message so you know why you can't save the target file, or preview. Anyone using it will now have no idea why they can't do these things.

 If this is the case Kelly then how did you manage to save the target file? I think the confusion here is that the target file for you is the SDLXLIFF and not the file that was used to create the SDLXLIFF in the first place. You would not be able to save the target file without the original source file and this is the dependency file. You can save the SDLXLIFF however. 
 Frankly I think this thread has gone on long enough. You have created a plugin to get rid of a message that is informational to most users, and is in fact a deliberate feature in the software and not a bug. Great, good luck to you and I hope you are correctly repairing the SDLXLIFF before you return it to your customer as they will not be too happy otherwise.
