Unable to initialize "Populate project TM" task for file based TMs - Studio 2017 CU15

Question

Several colleagues and I have been experiencing the following issue further to installing CU15 for Studio 2017 when creating packages with file based project TMs (the project TMs in question being subsets of server based TMs on GroupShare). 
 Unexpected exception when initializing task "Populate project translation memories". An error occurred creating a file based translation memory - AutomaticTaskExecuter 
 We can create packages with server based project TMs, but this does not serve our purpose. 
 We are also able to manually create file based TMs of course. 
 Has anyone else encountered this behaviour? Is there an established workaround? 
 Many thanks in advance for any assistance.

Can you confirm that you are not using AnyTM for the server based TMs?

ok. There is a known (newly documented) issue relating to the use of AnyTM:

But if this isn't your problem then I suggest you log a case through the support team. I'm presuming you have a support contract with GroupShare? If not then you should log this as an installation issue given it seems to have been caused by installing CU15. 
 
This can be achieved really quickly using this link:

You have two options: 
 
1. Submit a case using a webform 
2. Use live chat to get a licence reset 
 
You want to use the first option and make sure that you refer to this thread so the teams can see what you have tried already.
