Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Question

Hi,
I'm using Studio 2017 and today I copy pasted a passage from online and saved it to Word, selected "Translate as Single Document" and when it opened the above error message came up. After translating I wanted to "Save Target As" but this option was disabled. I closed and opened it up later but still got the same error message. The below is the full detail, please help.

Try using View -> Reset Window Layout when the file is open in the editor. 
 
If that doesn't help reset Studio. You could use this app for the reset and this will also explain what you will lose by carrying out a reset before you do it:

But if you'd rather do this manually then rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio: 
 
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0 
 
So the path would become this: 
 
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0_old 
 
If you can't find this folder then you need to unhide your hidden files/folders: 
 
 www.howtogeek.com/.../

Trados Studio > 1. Trados Studio
