Removing a not used target language from the project (change language)

Question

Hello, 
 so I'm using the Freelance license with Trados, which means I have 5 languages available in my projects. When I started I wasn't exactly sure about all 5 languages I'm going to use, but I had to pick all of them. By now, I've got one language I totally won't use and would like to replace it with another one. 
 How do I best do this? It's important that I can actually still use my 'old' project file. Is this reasonable? I could do code changes if necessary, however it shouldn't be too much. 
 Atm I've got German, English, Spanish, Italian and Dutch. I'd like to replace Dutch with French. 
 What would be the best way to do it? Reinstall, repair? Any other option? How about using the old project file after an reinstall and using a different language?

By default you can only use those 5 languages in your projects in a Freelance version which were picked when you opened Studio the first time. 
 
As for your projects, you can only add a new language to an existing project but cannot remove one.

In short, the final solution for the user in this case was editing the registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\LDSRClient15 was renamed to LDSRClient15.old)
