I believe you answered my question, but I will throw this in as an extra verification:

If I set up the terminology list (which I am loading in manually via the "Project Settings -> Language pairs -> Termbases" window) with regular expressions, am I correct in understanding that this will be used as a literal search instead of a regular expression, i.e.:

Source: Checklist for computer cleaning

Target: Sjekkliste(n)? for rengjøring av datamaskin

Will look for a literal "Sjekkliste(n)?" instead of "Sjekkliste" with an optional "n" at the end of it, followed by the rest: " for rengjøring av datamaskin"?

The reason I am wondering about this is because I have a lot of terms consisting of 2 or more words, where the ending of the 1st or 1st and 2nd change depending on form, amount, and so on.

I couldn't be 100% sure... but I'd say not.  I know there are other tools that do support this sort of thing but we have tended to follow a more purist route when it comes to terminology.
