First my project disappeared from the project list. Next, the file is locked and then I cannot open the file, as I get a SDL XLIFF validation error. Lost 50K proejct.

Question

I have been working on edits for a client for over a week now. Last night after I closed the file in the package I was worling on (as usual) and tried to open SDL again, the proejct was GONE from the list of proejcts. GONE completely. I have not uploaded anything. NO updates. No virus scans or anything of the sort. 
 When I tried to locate the proejct files in my Studio folder, I found a file with a little lock -I never lcked any files as well. Once I unlocked it, I was never able to open the file, as I get SDL XLIFF validation error and some informaiton about hexadecimal value. I have no clue what is going on.

 It is unlikely that your work is just lost, but the information you give is very unspecific, so it is rather hard to figure out what might be going on. * Are you using Windows? Which version? Are you working in a network environment? * Which version of Studio? * Which project file did you find - in which subfolder of the project? * "With a little lock" - "little"? * What exactly was the error message? Sometimes you can repair these files manually without too big a problem, but you need to know a bit more exactly what the problem is. Daniel
