Multiterm 2019 has disappeared on Windows 10.

Question

I use SDL Trados Studio 2019 with, at least until recently, MultiTerm 2019. 
 When I try to open MultiTerm, the splash screen appears initially and then... nothing! At first I thought that MultiTerm was simply not visible on the screen, but checking in the Windows Task Manager also shows that the process is not running. 
 Luckily I still have MultiTerm 2017 installed on the machine, and that is working fine with Studio 2019 so it's not an emergency for me. But if anybody has any ideas about what the issue could be, I would be interested to hear them.

Try first to run a simple repair installation of Multiterm or even simplier install it again. 
If not, do a reset on that. Here is a description for Studio, so just adapt for MT, as it works exactly same way: gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge

No problem. 
Try to remove the complete Multiterm folder from the AppData, as described in the linked article. Then try to start MT again.
