Cannot open Trados Studio 2017: "Specified cast is not valid".

Hi there, 
 
 I just tried to open the Trados Studio 2017 application and I received an error saying "The specified cast is not valid". I used Trados Studio the whole day with no errors at all, so I really don't not what causes this problem. 
 I already tried to re-install Trados and fix it in the Configuration Panel under 'Uninstall or change a program', but that doesn't seem to solve the problem. Any ideas how to fix this problem? It's really annoying, as I use this program every day.

I am wondering whether you are working also with Groupshare projects and the problem is stemming from the SDL Mutliterm server connetion?
