Can't clear target segment, can't export to word.

Question

Can't clear target segment, can't export to word (i.e. my familiar Alt-del and Shft-f12 commands aren't working and the commands are greyed out). Using Studio 2019 and just upgraded to Word 2019 on a new laptop (could this be the problem)?

I think it is highly unlikely to have anything to do with the Office/Word version in this case. 
Are you able to share the SDLXLIFF file with me (swhale@sdl.com) and we can take a look for you.
