Failed to save target content: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Question

I need urgent help. 
 I have been reviewing five already translated files in Trados Studio 2019 and now I can open only two of them, as when trying to open the other three files, the following message appears: 
 Failed to save target content: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. 
 
 I&acute;ve tried to create a new project and use the SDL XLIFF documents, but the same message appears. 
 
 I really do not know how to solve it and I have no time to review the three translated files again. 
 
 I hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance.

Hi Melissa , Could you please give us the stack trace? and also the xliff you are trying to add the to the project? What version of Studio 2019 are you using? Kind regards, Andrea Ghisa

You don't need to. As you already sent me the files yesterday I can reproduce the issue. I don't really think this is solely a Studio issue as the files have certainly been through the mill and it's unrealistic to try and figure out where the problem actually stems from. I sent you a project package this morning after doing this: 
 
1.	Created a TMX from the SDLXLIFF files using SDLXLIFF2TMX (on the appstore) 
2.	Created a new project from your Word source files 
3.	Pretranslated the project from the TMX 
4.	Attached the project package to this email 
 
At least this way you can recover the translation and get your target files.
