Parallel projects, pushing updated TM into other document

Hi All,

I know this is easy, because I've done it before, but I must ask the greater community! I cannot think of the best way to do this...

I am working on two projects (we'll call them projects A and B) that are very similar, but due to their size (150K words) and my editor's schedule, by the time my reviewer completed the edit of project A, I was already done with project B.

While working on project B, I had some golden a-HA moments and translated many things differently the second time around after getting some client feedback, etc.

My editor has returned project A to me, but how in the heck do I get my enlightenment from project B to migrate to project A for final sign-off.

    Hi ,

    Updating a reviewed file is tricky, because segments were approved / changed for a reason, and I believe they should be kept that way in most cases.

    That being said, if necessary I would do it as follows:
    - in project A, lock those segments you would not like to be changed (maybe by filtering 'Approved' just the opposite, 'Rejected' segments),
    - make sure that the memory is updated with project B,
    - and pre-translate the file in project A with the memory (overwriting existing translations).

    You mentioned that you have done this before - is it possible to know what process you used? It would be interesting to compare ideas. :)
