Import sdltm to new installation

Question

My laptop became corrupted. I have to reinstall everything from scratch. I have one Studio 2017 sdltm file and one Studio 2019 sdltm file. What is the proper way to merge those two files into one master sdltm to be used with the new installation? I will also need instruction on how import the new master sdltm into the new installation. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Please try following steps: 
 
1. Install the latest version of Studio 2017 SR1. Insaller is avalable here. 
 gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge 
 
2. Check if your SDLTM files can be opened with Studio 2017 SR1. 
 
3. Export SDLTM file to TMX file one by one. 
 docs.sdl.com/.../pub.xql 
 
4. Create new TM. This will be a new master TM. 
 
5. Import TMX files to new master TM one by one. 
 docs.sdl.com/.../pub.xql
