Automatic saving does not work

Question

Hello, 
 I have upgraded from Studio 2017 to 2019. 
 Although the automatic saving function is selected, Studio does not save at all, by which I mean that unless I remember to save my work manually, the program never ever carries out one single saving. 
 Is it a software bug? What can I do?

 This automatic save feature is not the same as a manual save (the asterisks showing that changes have been entered in the translation won't go away). This automatic save feature is useful if your PC stalls or the application closes itself for whatever reason. In these cases, the next time you open Studio, Studio will ask you to open the latest automatically saved version. So if you set 10 minutes as the period between automatic savings (the default value) you won't loose more than 10 minutes of your work ever. This is not a bug, it's a feature.
