Error messages: "Failed to get archive directory listing" and "Failed to load update data file"

Question

I get the above error messages. 
 There are workarounds for SDL Trados 2017. 
 I would like to repair this for SDL Trados 2019 in order to get any updates in time. 
 I already deleted SDL Trados 2019 fully and reinstalled it. To no avail. 
 What do I have to do?

I guess you are referring to the automatic updates? The article hasn't been updated for 2019 but the solution would probably be this: 
 
 gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge 
 
However, if this is the workaround you are referring to, and it hasn't worked properly for you then I suggest you use your support contract to have a support engineer look at this for you.
