After installing the latest version of Glossary Converter and acting on its hints after a few failed .tbx -> *.sdltb conversions, I changed the settings for the MaxLocksPerFile entry in the Registry to (Decimal) 25000. So far, the previously failed ones and a few new ones have succeeded fine.
My system: Windows 10 Pro, 1 TB SSD, 64 GB RAM, SDL Trados Studio 2015 SR2/MultiTerm 2015. I mention this, as I am uncertain about the relationship between my (Decimal) 25000 setting and (hardware) system requirements, yet I thought this info may be useful to others.
