upgrade from 2014 to 2019

Question

Hi, 
 I am thinking about upgrading from 2014 to 2019. However, I still have clients working with workbench 7. Currently, I can still use termbase from Multiterm 2014 in workbench, and I am wondering if this still works if I upgrade to 2019. (if not, it would be a problem). 
 Also, my working partners still using Studio 2014/2015, if I upgrade, will there be any TM/ file issues when we work together, sharing files/TMs?

If you are using SDLTM in 2007 you will be first exporting to TMX and then importing into a 2007 TMW (you cannot use SDLTM direct in 2007 versions and vice versa. 
Maybe you are already using the following (free) app to do the export- appstore.sdl.com/.../ (which also supports Studio 2019 
 
If your partners /colleagues are using 2014/2015/2017 then you should have no issues at all sharing the SDLTM's.

My apologies- my initial reply was incorrect as i misread your question and thought you were referring to Translation memory, rather than Terminology (Termbase)- So contary to my original answer, yes you will be able to use the termbase.
