what's the status on this case?
We now have the same problem as we've just started using Trados 2019 in real operation (after having used Trados 2007 up to then).
We are a software development department handling a big amount of legacy XML files (50% DocBookXML, 50% self-defined XML).
I tested updating files of both file types, using the same or a different file name for the changed source file. In all cases, we get these subfolders.
As we are now close to the next release, we urgently need a reliable and not confusing workflow how to update source files in a project also multiple times.

I'm afraid not Karin Ritter. It would be nice but these are internal systems and we don't have that capability. I like to quote the numbers though as it makes it easier to find them if someone asks abouot them in the future and we have not addressed them yet.
