Update from Bilingual Review File

Hi,

I exported a file for external review. Reviewed it myself. Then tried to update the SDLX file by using the Update from Bilingual Review file. The SDLX file is not getting updated. Either I get a warning or and error message. Based on these error messages:

 

a) I removed the tracked changes and comments and tried to Update. Still no results.

b) Tried using the original review file (with comment removed) abut track changes on...but there is no change.

How can I solve this issue?

    Many thanks. Your excellent Blog...surprisingly I missed reading. All along I had realised my mistake...editing the SDLX file while it was being reviewed. You have mentioned this clearly in your blog.
    I did take the long route (the steps in your blog are way much superior and cooler!) and solved the problem.
    A tip for those doing external reviews...choose the side by side option! Then it would be easier to use the two language versions to manipulate the columns. (in case there is a goof-up on your part! and SDL Trados does not import the reviewed file.)
