SDL Trados Studio 2019 slower and more bugging compared to SDL TS 2017

Question

Dear All 
 I find SDL TS 2019 quite slow and bugging with quite heavy (?) files (of about 40 Mo). When launching an editing, it blocks to display Source segments and the only way is then to Quit it (through Window Applicatgion Manager) where SDL TS 2017 opens it quite rapidly and without problem. 
 I am quite always obliged to open the project with SDL TS 2017 to be able to work. 
 What is happening ? 
 I have a PC i5 3Ghz with 20Go RAM.

I think it's worth making sure that your security software is not having a problem with the Studio 2019 footprint. Perhaps try these two articles first to see if they help with your problem:

If these don't help please log a case so a support engineer can help you. For licensing or installation issues that prevent you from working we have a route for all customers to get help. This can be achieved really quickly using this link:

You have two options: 
 
1. Submit a case using a webform 
2. Use live chat to get a licence reset 
 
You want to use the first option and make sure you give them a link to this thread so they have some history of what you have tried already.

This is probably caused by you not uninstalling the application in the way it wants. There are several entries in the windows control panel for Studio and you need to uninstall the "Suite of products" for the version you are uninstalling. This article may be helpful to get things up and running again:
