SDLXLIFF file not opening correctly

Question

Hi all, 
 I am working with a programmer to get some bilingual content from an Excel file back into an SDLXLIFF using a tool he developed. First he extracted the SDLXLIFF content to a column in an Excel file, then added the translations from a TXT file in another column. Now the contents from the two columns have to be moved to the source and target segments in SDLXLIFF. My programmer says that from a coding standpoint everything seems to be OK, but when I try to open the file in Studio, I get the following error window. 
 
 I am trying to uploading the SDLXLIFF so you can have a look to see what might be wrong, but i"m not sure if it's possible to upload this file. I'm getting an error message when I try to upload the SDLXLIFF itself, so I zipped it. Thanks in advance for your help!

I suggest you ask the developer to post this question in here after troubleshoting the problem a little:

Looking at the sdlxliff it seems to be pretty messy and contains several files in one. It would be helpful to see the sdlxliff prior to the text operation. It would also be good for the developer to explain how he did this because it always make sense to use the filetype API for operations like this or the chances of breaking the file are very high.
