Edit - After taking another look at the import dialog, I realized the project name in the dialog is exactly the same as the previous project, despite my changing the project package file name in Windows Explorer. This would be because the software sees the properties of the package regardless of the external name change and it is ostensibly identical to the existing project...

If you wish to open it whether it is actually the same project or not, simply put the previous project into a folder with an appropriate name as the software won't search for it one level deeper in your filing structure.

This should resolve the issue.

Hi Daniel,

Ah, OK, yes that is the other fact that I had forgotten about - this can also mean that you have already received files in a project but that the project manager is sending you further files for that same project. They should really explain that, to save confustion. Then, you just continue as normal and the new files automatically add themselves to the same project without an error message.
