I have a project with 3 target languages and 3 TMs listed under “All Language Pairs” in the “Translation Memory and Automated Translation” dialog.
Now, I wish to use specific TM settings or a second TM for a single language pair. Consequently, I go to the “lower” section of the dialog “Language Pairs Using Different Language Providers”
After activating the option “Use different translation providers for this language pair”, Studio will prompt me:
Regardless if I press Yes or No, Studio copies all the TMs listed under “All Language Pairs!” Is this a bug?
If I have added a TM in the “lower” section “Language Pairs Using Different Language Providers”, and then try to add a TM for the same language pair in the section “All Language Pairs”, Studio warns me that it will ignore the TM there:
Nonetheless, Studio actually adds the TM under “All Language Pairs!” Is this also a bug? It really should not do anything at all and inform the user in a more unequivocal way.
Is it safe to assume that if I have a TM set up in the section “Language Pairs Using Different Language Providers”, any TM listed under “All Language Pairs” will ALWAYS be ignored for that language pair, regardless if the options Enabled and Update have been checked? I find this somewhat confusing!
