Google Cloud API Integration and Server-Based TM not working

Hi,

I have worked for a while with Google Cloud API, but ever since last week it stopped working (Message: The API Key you entered cannot be validated with Google)

It is not related to Billing info/activation on my Google account, I already checked.

Also, my free-trial period have not been reached, there are 244 days left.

Also I created another project on Google and the new API Key did not work as well.

I found a similar post here, also without an answer.

Pleassse, helllp!!

Also I am unable to connect to a Server-Based TM.

    I would check the key you are using with Google.  It's unlikely a correct key will start to fail from one day to the next in the software with no updates.  Maybe valdate it in the software by using MT Enhanced from the appstore for example?  This is a separate plugin that can also use Google Translate, but under it's own mechanism that does not use the Studio Google Translate.

    Can you provide more information on this?  Do you have access to a GroupShare account?

    Thanks for the reply!
    I tried to use MT Enhanced plugin, but receive the following message: The translaiton provider MT Enhanced using Google Translate does not support any language pair in this project or project template. consider using ANyTM &Ass - AnyTM( to add your translation memory.
    However I beleive this will not be the same as Google Cloud API (correct me if I am wrong). Because the Cloud API uses Neural MT, and the MT Enchanced does not, right?
    So, is there any file to be deleted/changed, or any update I can do to SDL to keep using the Google Cloud API with it?

    HI Paul,
    Also I am unable to connect to a Server-Based TM - when clicking on Project Settings - Translaiton Memories - Use - Server-Based TM, the Select server based TM window opens. So, I can see the Server I want to connect (a client´s server), it is available, however, no TM is shown under Translation Memories.
    I posted this issue here, because this started happening together with the Google Cloud API issue, and both of them after I did several procedures posted before on another issue.

    Wrong.  MT Enhanced is usually further advanced than Google Cloud API in Studio as it's easier to keep this one upto date whenever Google change something.

    Can you confirm what version of Studio you are using and also what version of GroupShare your client is using?

    If they are compatible then the problem is most likely down to permissions that you have been provided with for your login.  So you should address this with your client.  If it's not permissions then your client should log a case with ther support team on your behalf.

    HI Paul, I was unable to connect with MT Enhanced as well, got the message:
    The transation provider MT Enhanced using Google Translate does not support any lçanguage pair in this poroject or project template. Conseider usuing AnyTM to add your translation memory.
    I tried to add the MT Enchanced in the Options pane, instead of adding it in the Translation Memory window, and also got the same message.


    As per the other question about the server, it was working fine and just stopped. I will check with the client.
