Whitespace characters hidden in TM and Concordance

Question

Just upgraded to Studio 2017. 
 Whitespace characters are not showing up in the Translation Memory or Concordance panels. 
 I have already checked the box under Options/Translation Memories View; it has no effect.

 This is easily remedied with an SDLXLIFF open, click twice the paragraph symbol to toggle it off then on again, here: 
 
 You will find then that the whitespaces etc will now also appear in Concordance and Translation Memories window.
