Multiple sessions of Trados Studio 2017 are opening. Like some 20-30. Some error messages are also displaying behind the Opening Screen (which remains ON...as perhaps many sessions are opening). So unable to do anything...except just power down the computer. Using a HP all-in-one Windows 10 computer with wireless keyboard and mouse. This could be a keyboard issue as some kind of auto-complete is taking place. Maybe the mouse click is also repeated. Yes, sounds crazy. But thought I will list this problem. Thanks.

  • Hi Gurudutt Kamath,

even if I use a Microsoft wireless keyboard (but a wired mouse) I never faced the issue you mentioned.

Instead, I have faced substantial problems just after having installed the wireless keyboard as it interfered with the WiFi router signal/frequency.

In the Web, if you search for Wireless keyboard WiFi router conflicts or Wireless keyboard WiFi router conflicts you may find many references and solutions to this problem (e.g. here or here).

From my part, as all my machines are “wire” connected to the router, instead of operating on WiFi router and keyboard frequencies, I just deactivated the WiFi router feature (activating it just when essential: on my router I may activate/deactivate WiFi feature just pressing a button), and all interference problems have been resolved.

    I hope this may help.

    Regards,

    Claudio
