I've uninstalled the software, delete the registry and reinstalled the program a couple of times, but the problem persists.

Perhaps try clearing out the program files that are left behind with a reinstall using Freshstart: 
 
 appstore.sdl.com/.../ 
 
Uninstalling and reinstalling, messing with the registry... this doesn't do the same job.
