Trados Spellchecker

Question

When running the Spellchecker in a Trados Project, the following french word is not identified as incorrect: entrainement. Correct would be entra&icirc;nement. Thanks in advance for an explanation why?

Probably because it's not perfect! Are you using Hunspell or Microsoft Word (which is probably more comprehensive) as the spell checker in Studio? You can add it and enhance the dictionary over time. 
 
Maybe also look at using Antidote in Studio from the SDL AppStore (if you have Antidote the product installed). This is more specialised for French spelling and Grammar and I believe produces superior results.
