Import translation memory

Question

Hi, 
 I just started using SDL Trados. 
 I tried to import .sdlxliff to the existing translation memory in translation memory view. It doesn't show any error messages but the translation memory didn't updated. What's wrong?

Perhaps, in this case, you were just looking at the first 50 segments. The default page view is 50 lines. You can set this to 200 in the Translation Memory settings under File -> Options, and you can also page through the TM to see the rest using the navigation arrows in the ribbon when your Translation Memory is open. 
 
If the TM is large try just searching for something new that you believe should be in there after import. 
 
Studio 2019 has some significant improvements in this area.

How do you know? Can you tell us how you have checked this because there are a few reasons you might not think it has updated when it has.
