Applying new TM units to an old translation

Question

Hi All, 
 A client reviewed my translation in Word and the Retrofit did not work. So I aligned the source and target files and imported the translation units (TUs) into my TM. In my old translation sdlxliff, how do I now overwrite relevant units with the reviewed TUs?

I think the easiest solution here would be to simply take the original source file, create a new project attaching the new updated TM you know to be correct and then run a batch task (pre-translate files). 
This will then auto populate the target (from the memory) allowing you to save the finished file.
