How to keep style options of original idml file when extracting translated file from Trados?

Question

I've uploaded an idml file in to Trados, it's been translated, but when I extract the document and then open the file in InDesign it is loosing all of the style options that were in the original InDesign document. 
 Is there a way I can upload/extract this file and still have it keep all of the styling from the original document? e.g. font size, font choice etc.

If this problem is not related to you failing to transfer the correct tags from the source in the target segments then we would need to see the original source file and the fully translated SDLXLIFF file. Then we could investigate and help. 
 
Please try opening the translation and then press F8 to run the verification. Make sure that all the tags are correctly placed.
