Trados Studio 2017 conflicting with MSWord Grammar Checker plugin from App Store?

Has anyone experience Trados Studio 2017 failures after installing the MSWord Grammar Checker? I installed the MSWord Grammar Checker today and it broke my Trados Studio 2017. I had to run a repair, delete the settings files in AppData/Roaming/SDL/... and then reset most of my settings. We would like to use the grammar checker in our entire office and potentially in more offices, but I hesitate to recommend it to my colleagues because it might cause them the same problem. But of course it could just be my Trados. Does anyone know whether this is a common issue after installing this plugin?

We have had to disable the plugin today as we were experiencing lots of issues with Studio 2017. For example, our sessions would freeze when we used the QA check or when we changed the status of a segment. Since disabling the plugin, our issues have gone away.
