Uploading an original and translated file to use as reference

Question

Hi, I've been trying to upload an original and translated file that were sent to me to use as reference, but I still can't find a way to do this..anyone out there know how to do this?

What exactly do you want to do with it? Studio can't make use of a reference file in any smart way... you can add it as a reference file for someone to open if they have an application that can open it, and then they can search and review the file in that application. But you can't look anything up in the reference file automatically in Studio. 
 
Do you want to include it as a reference file in a project package you are sending out?

I think I've given you a bum steer by not reading your original post carefully enough. You can of course align these two files and create a Translation Memory from them, and then you will be able to use this memory in your project. Perhaps review this article for an explanation of how to use the alignment module in Studio:
