Studio 2017 will not open

Question

Good morning. Today Studio cannot be opened. I keep getting the message "the requested data error cannot be found". I uninstalled and installed the application again, but nothing has changed. Could you please help me?

I think the cause of the error is that the translation memory cannot be accessed anymore, for example because it's no longer available on a Network Drive or user doesn't have access to it. 
 
To resolve this try the following: 
 
Go to this location: C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0 
Find this file: TranslationMemoryRepository.xml and rename it to TranslationMemoryRepository_old.xml 
Open Studio and see if you still experience the issue.
