Projects and TMs disappeared after restart

Question

In the course of various computer problems yesterday (some SDL Studio related, others not), I had to restart my ocmputer several times by just switching it off. Now the other problems are fixed but SDL Studio is behaving strangely in a couple of ways: All my previous projects have disappeared from the Projects view. And when I open a project package from a client, it opens ok but when I then open the file, there is no TM attached to it. I also cannot see any of my own TMs. Can you please help urgently as I cannot work at the moment.

Hello Gerti Hofmann 
 As you have been experiencing various issues recently, I would suggest the Studio issue is because for some reason you are no longer running Studio as 'administrator'. 
 This could be due to other system/program updates. 
 Please try right clicking the Studio icon and selecting runs as administrator

Maybe check two simple things: 
 
1. In the Projects View make sure you have not filtered out completed projects in left navigation pane 
2. Unzip the project package you have sent and see if there is a TM inside it

 As nothing is actually stored in Studio (every thing is saved to your computer), even if you cannot see the projects in the projects view you should still be able to verify that the projects are still visible in your file structure- 
 Something like - 
 
 Then in this case, the next step would be to reset Studio 
 
 Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio: c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0 
 Ensure first that Studio is 'whitelisted' in your AntiVirus software (simply google your particular provider on how to do this).

 Correct. There would be a folder named TM. So I think this is clear at least.

 As you save your projects elsewhere and not in the default location is there any possibility that you changed the path to these projects in windows? If you did this Studio would no longer be able to find them and would drop them from the list in the projects view. Can you find them in windows and then add them back in again using Open Project and select the sdlproj file for each project?
