I'm trying to align two large documents, and the alignment tool stops immediately when it starts to merge them. I have tried opening them in Word under 'Open and repair', but the same problem persists. I cannot download the OpenExchange app because there does not appear to be a version compatible with Studio 2017.
The document to translate is virtually the same as others that were previously translated elsewhere, and it would really be helpful to align them.
Any help?

How long did you wait? Especially with large files the alignment process (merging documents) can take a very long time. In one case, I had to wait about 4 hours for the merging process to finish (the documents to align were indeed very large). If you want to speed up the process you might want to split the documents into smaller pieces and to align them one after the other or let Studio prepare the alignment of the large files over night.
