Error message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

I am using SDL 2017 and I uploaded the pptx file in order to create a new project. But appearing this error What can I do?

    It's helpful to tell us exactly what you were doing when the error occurred, and it's also useful to share the full error message and not just this generic title as this can sometimes be helpful too.#

    However, if the problem is not linked to the pptx file itself then it would probably be worth doing a reset. Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio:

    c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0

    So the path would become this:

    c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0_old

    If you can't find this folder then you need to unhide your hidden files/folders:

    www.howtogeek.com/.../
