Could I in Alignment target segment activate inactive (gray) row?

Question

may be it was mistake during alignment. And now some translated sentences are missing. Coul I activate some inactive segments in target alignment mode which are in gray color?

When I've seen this in the past the problem was related to these segments not being extracted for alignment at all. In my case the solution was to recreate the source file (it was Word so simple enough), make sure there were no hidden styles being used, and then align again. Perhaps that would be worth a try?

And when I've seen this, it was caused by aligning actually completely different files... ;-) 
...because the algorithm for automatic filename aligning (when adding many files from folder) is buggy and tends to automatically assign incorrect filenames under certain situations (when there are multiple files with similar filenames). And when there are hundreds/thousands of filenames, it's very easy to miss this when checking visually in the dialog...
