Deactivating fragment matching

The fragment matching and repair function seems to be slowing me down on a job I'm doing, so I have tried to turn it off. I clicked on the "off" button both under project settings and under Options, but the feature keeps slogging along. Is there a special trick to turning this feature off?

  • I had the same problem, I had to turn Fragment Matching off because it's not great for highly inflecting languages, and worst of all, it seems to cause problems with MultiTerm i.e. when there are Fragment Matches, it prevents MultiTerm matches from displaying properly and the only way to show them was by moving in and out of the Target field, that would somehow call in the missing matches from MultiTerm...

Anyway, turns out (at least on my machine) you also have to take the tick out of Fragment Matches under Options » Auto Suggest » Auto Suggest Providers. At that point, it stops pulling up Fragment Matches completely.
